Gray Past, Colorful Future

This picture is a concept I had in mind.  So many youth use basketball to escape the trials and tribulations of what teenage life brings.
In this picture I wanted to show the even though the past is gray, the future is full of Color.

Trip to Clarksville, Ga.

To celebrate our 12th Anniversary we took a trip to Clarksville, Ga and stayed at the Apple Mountain Resort.  Downtown Clarksville had a wonderful small town feel to it.  We were lucky enough to find Java Joes Coffee and Bistro.  From the second we walked it we were greeted with warmth and hospitality.  I had the best chicken salad sandwich I've ever had in my life.  It was so good that I got two more to go.  Here are a few shots from our visit.

Below:  This exact same salad would go for about $25 at an upscale restaurant in downtown Atlanta and I doubt it would taste as good.  This salad was prepared as if it was going to be used as advertisement, but the chef had no idea that I would be taking a picture of it and posting it on my blog, which means every salad gets this kind of attention as does the rest of their food
